1 rainy day + 1 amazing husband watching the children all day long + 1 heart inspired by the awesome sewing group in Korea + (0 laundry done + 0 dishes done + 0 nap time) = 1 finished quilt! :)

Above, the quilt is on Will's bed. Below is a picture of it on my bed so you can see it full-size. If you look in the old pictures that I posted last time (from 2007), you'll see that the final quilt is only half the size of the one I originally pieced. That's because at some very discouraged point during the 4 years it took to finish this thing, I realized that if it were full size, it would not only never fit my son's bed, but I would never get the quilting done on it. So my genius husband suggested that I chop it in half and make it the proper size for our boy's bed. Wonderful solution! What would I do without my man?!
