Indian Independence Day

August 15th is Independence Day here. We had a flag raising ceremony, a guest speaker, and lots of kinds of Indian food. However, the crowds of people made for long lines and I didn't manage to get much to eat. We enjoyed a day off of school and had a nice time hanging out with people we don't see enough. It was nice to have a long weekend.
